Diet Coke Announces a Fab Four
Here’s how Diet Coke gets it’s biggest makeover ever…
The Coca-Cola Company manufactures, markets, and distributes soft drink concentrates and syrups — but still keeps sinking economically. Soda sales have fallen as more people switch to low-calorie drinks and flavored fizzy water like La Croix.
But Coke is plotting a comeback.
This company has listened to fans, and has decided to bring back Diet Coke’s original formula, while also bringing four fruity new flavors.
Those are Ginger Lime, Twisted Mango, Zesty Blood Orange, and Feisty Cherry. Although you’re probably thinking that these products are everywhere, which is kind of true, they saw a volume drop 4.3 percent last year, according to industry publication Beverage-Digest.
Coke is hoping these flavors, complete with a sleek new design on the can, draw to a new generation of fans and satisfy longtime consumers of their products as well.
Keep an eye on this experiment to see if it goes flat.
